The Resource Planner can be accessed directly from within a project, allowing you to manage resourcing in context with your project details.
Accessing the Resource Planner in a Project
- Click on the Projects tab in the top navigation bar.
- Select a project from the list.
- Open the Planner module within the project.
- Note: The Planner module will only be available if the project was created with the Resource Planner module enabled in its template.
Key Features
Within the project-level Resource Planner, you can:
- View user profiles – Click on any user to see their full profile.
- Edit events – Click on any event to view or edit its details.
- Change timeframes – Select the time frame you wish to view (e.g., by day, week, or month).
- Add events – Insert an event into the table using the drop-down list.
- Add bookings – Assign users to tasks by adding bookings directly in the table.
- Edit the project team – Update the team members assigned to the project.
- Switch calendar views – Use the Calendar View drop-down to change the display (e.g., 1 Week, 2 Weeks, etc.).
