TABLE OF CONTENTS

With the ability to filter resources based on various criteria, users can quickly identify the right personnel for projects, assess workloads, and optimize resource allocation. Whether navigating through a large pool of team members or managing multiple projects, filters help enhance visibility and improve efficiency within the Screendragon platform, ultimately leading to better project outcomes and resource management.

Adding a Filter to the Resource Planner

  1. Navigate to the Resourcing tab in the main menu. (This tab might have a different name depending on your setup.)

  2. Click +Add Filter.

  3. Select from the filter types listed.

  4. Check the box next to the filter you want applied. You can check as many as you want.

  5. Choose how you want the filter displayed in the conditional filter options. By default, IS and AND are selected.

  6. Click the X to remove the filter.

  7. You can continue to add and remove filters as needed.

Note:

Is/Is Not Filters: These are used to include or exclude specific criteria in your search. For example, you might filter to show resources that "are" assigned to a particular project or "are not" part of a certain team.

And/Or Filters: These allow users to combine multiple filter criteria. Using "and" requires that all specified conditions be met, while "or" allows for any conditions to be satisfied in the results.

Together, these filter types provide a robust way to narrow down data according to user needs within the resource planning process.

After creating a new filter, you can edit it and add it to the existing filter list.
