The Resource Planner provides a snapshot of the past, current, and future activities of all users in the system. The diverse functionality of the application allows for further auditing through running reports and monitoring individual timesheets.


Filter and Filter Settings

The + Add Filter lets you quickly access the relevant users, groups, roles, project types, and other criteria you need to focus on. These filters enable precise information retrieval and can be saved for future use.

The Filter Settings enable you to customize the resource planner's display according to your preferences. The tool is flexible and permission-based, ensuring you can only view the information you are authorized to access.

Resource Planner Views

The Resource View enables users to manage resources, optimize scheduling, and ensure project efficiency. This button provides users with a visual representation of resource allocations and availability. It allows project managers to quickly assess the resources assigned to various tasks, track their workload, and identify potential over-allocations. Users can use the Resource View to manage resources, optimize scheduling, and ensure project efficiency.

Bookings Refresh

Click here anytime to refresh the view and see if any changes have occurred since the Resource Planner was first loaded.


Date Range Selector

The Date Range Selector allows users to specify a custom range of dates for reporting and analysis purposes. Users can filter the displayed data by selecting a start and end date and filter the displayed data to focus on specific periods relevant to their needs. Whether for tracking project timelines, monitoring resource availability, or analyzing performance metrics, the Date Range Selector facilitates precise data retrieval and enhances the overall effectiveness of reporting.

 

Date Navigation Toggle

The Date Navigation Toggle, labeled < Today >, enables you to navigate the calendar view. By clicking this toggle, you can jump to the current date and move seamlessly across various dates in the calendar. This tool simplifies date selection and enhances user experience by quickly accessing past or future dates while keeping a clear reference point to the present.


Export Functionality

The Export feature allows users to extract information in Excel or PDF format. This functionality enables convenient data sharing and offline access to reports and records. Users can select their desired format based on specific requirements, facilitating seamless integration with other applications or systems.


Date Views

To modify the date view, click this drop-down to adjust the display settings for weekly or monthly capacity. This functionality allows users to customize the timeframe for viewing resource allocations, enabling a tailored analysis of capacity based on the selected date range.


Add Booking

The Add Booking feature enables users to efficiently add recurring events, such as vacations, training sessions, and sick leave, by configuring categories. By setting up these categories, users can streamline the booking process, ensuring quick and consistent entry of regular events into the scheduling system.
