TABLE OF CONTENTS

Managing Project Teams

The Team tab within a project displays the profiles of users who have been assigned to the project, either during project creation or later editing. These users have access to project content and can be assigned to tasks, workflows, and other collaborative elements.

Overview of the Team Tab

When you open the Team tab, you’ll see a list of all users currently assigned to the project. These users can:

  • View project content

  • Participate in tasks and workflows

  • Contribute to discussions, files, and other collaborative areas

Users shown in this tab may have been:

  • Manually added during project setup or editing

  • Automatically included via Project Permission Manager if they have system-wide permissions for the project type

Managing User Access and Permissions

Permissions Button

To update a user's access level to the project:

  1. Click the Permissions button.

  2. Adjust the user’s role to View, Edit, or Admin.

Note: Only users with Admin access to the project can see the Permissions button.

Using Meta Filters

The Team tab includes Meta Filter functionality to help locate users based on profile attributes such as:

  • Company

  • Role/Title

  • Expertise

  • Department

  • Location, etc.

To use Meta Filters:

  1. Click on the relevant Meta Filter tab.

  2. Select the desired values to narrow the list of users and update the list results.

Viewing and Editing User Profiles

View a User Profile

To view a user's complete profile:

  • Click on the user’s profile picture in the Team tab.

  • The profile displays user-specific details configured in the User Management section (e.g., contact info, role, skills).

Edit a User Profile

While viewing a user’s profile:

  • Click the Open Profile button to update user information.

  • Click Edit Profile.

  • Edits made here will reflect across the system and not just within the project.

Important Notes

  • Users added via Project Permission Manager with global or template-level access appear in the Team tab automatically.

  • Assigning users to a project via the Team tab does not override system-level permissions.

  • Always ensure users are granted the appropriate access level for their role in the project.
