Creating Subfolders

Modified on Thu, 12 Jun at 7:18 PM

Users can organize the Library with either Edit or Admin access rights.

Users with appropriate permissions can create folders and subfolders within a Workbox by following these steps.

Creating a Subfolder

  1. Navigate to the desired parent folder and click Add New.
  2. Click Folder Manager.
  3. Navigate to the parent folder and click the + icon. Then select Create Folder.

Configure the folder details as follows:

  • Name (Mandatory): Enter a descriptive name for the folder.
  • Description (Optional): Briefly overview the folder’s purpose.
  • Permissions(Optional):
    • Inherit permissions from the root Workbox or parent folder, or
    • Specify individual users’ access rights, including view, edit, or admin privileges.
  • Select a Brand Color: Selecting a brand color means choosing a specific color representing and reflecting a company's or organization's identity.
  • Hero/Splash Image: A hero or splash image is a large, visually striking image prominently featured at the top of a webpage, app screen, or marketing material.
  • Motif/Watermark Image: a graphic element—usually a semi-transparent logo, symbol, or pattern—used for branding, security, or decorative purposes in digital or printed content.
  • Purge & Folder Delete Rules (Optional): Set rules for automatically deleting files or folders after a specified period or based on time-based criteria.
  1. Assign Users: Include permissions for each need, View, Edit, and Admin.
  2. Click Save to create the folder. The newly created folder will appear within your Workbox.

Note:
Unless manually adjusted, the folder's permission levels will automatically mirror those of the parent Workbox. Permissions can be modified at any time.
