The People (or Team) page serves as a centralized directory containing profiles for every member of your team or organization. From this page, you can locate team members, view their details, and understand their roles, departments, and expertise.
This is located in the navigation bar on the main menu and must be enabled by a system administrator. The name of the directory can also be customized, but the functionality is consistent.

Searching the Directory
- Basic Search: Use the Search field to find a particular user by name or keyword. Results update dynamically as you type.

- Filters: Filters help you narrow your search by category or metadata. Open the drop-down to view available options and select the ones you want to display in your results.

- Common examples include filtering by:
Role or Expertise (e.g., Project Manager, Designer, HR Specialist)
Location (e.g., New York, London, Remote)
Brand or Department (e.g., Marketing, HR, Engineering)
Note: These filters can be customized by name and criteria. Work with your system
administrator to configure these fields. - View a User Profile: Click a user’s name or thumbnail to open their User Profile page.

This page contains detailed information about the individual. Click Open Profile to view the user's details.
The User Profile contains valuable information related to each user

Notification Preferences
A user’s notification preferences determine whether they receive notifications related to:
Tasks (as configured in the Notification Center)
Mentions from other users (when another user refers to them using an @Mention)
Users can adjust these preferences to control how and when they are notified within the system.
Editing Your Profile
There are two ways to access and edit your profile:
Via Your Own Profile Page
- Open your user profile.
- Click the Edit Profile button.
- Under the General tab, several fields can be updated.
Via the Dashboard Dropdown Menu
- Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the main dashboard.
- Select View Profile, then click Edit Profile.
- An editable version of your profile is now available. Make the necessary updates and click Save to confirm your changes.
Note: System Administrators have permissions to edit all user profiles.
The following are definitions for each user profile settings section:
General Tab Field Definitions
The General tab contains key profile information that identifies each user within the system. It includes personal and organizational details such as name, email, location, role, and employment status, helping teams quickly understand who each user is, where they work, and how they fit within the organization.
Field | Description |
---|---|
First Name | The user’s given name. This is displayed across the system in user directories, assignments, and notifications. (Example: Gabriella) |
Last Name | The user’s family name or surname. Used in directories, user listings, and communications. (Example: Craig) |
The email address associated with the user’s account. This address is used for system notifications and communication. (Example: noreply@screendragon.com) | |
Notification Preferences | Settings that determine how and when the user receives email notifications from the system. |
Receive email notification each time you are @mentioned | When enabled, the user will receive an email whenever another user tags them using an @mention in comments, discussions, or forms. (Opt-in) |
Receive task and approval reminder email digests | When enabled, the user will receive periodic summary emails reminding them of outstanding tasks or approvals requiring attention. (Opt-in) |
Receive email notification each time you are assigned a task | When enabled, the user will receive an immediate email notification whenever a new task is assigned to them. (Opt-in) |
Finance Tab Field Definitions
The Finance tab provides visibility into project-related financial data, allowing users to monitor costs, allocations, and resource values. It includes fields that define financial responsibilities, track actual costs, and calculate workload allocation (FTE) to support accurate budgeting and forecasting.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Role | The job function or position assigned to the resource within the project. This defines the type of work performed (e.g., Designer, Developer, Resource Manager) and is used for cost allocation and reporting. (Example: Resource Manager) |
Resource Manager | The individual responsible for overseeing the resource’s allocation, workload, and performance. The Resource Manager ensures that the resource’s time and cost are managed efficiently across projects. |
FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) | Indicates the percentage of a full-time workload assigned to this role or resource. A value of 1.0 represents a full-time allocation, while 0.5 represents half-time. (Example: 9 indicates nine full-time equivalents assigned to this role.) |
Actual Cost | The total real (incurred) cost associated with the resource or role based on tracked time, expenses, or approved project costs. This reflects the amount spent to date, rather than what was estimated or forecasted. |
User Details Tab Field Definitions
The User Details tab provides a summary of key information for each team member associated with a project or resource plan. It enables managers to review user-specific data, including assigned roles, reporting structure, workload capacity, and actual project costs.
This view helps ensure that resources are allocated effectively, workloads remain balanced, and financial tracking is accurate.
Field | Description |
---|---|
Office Location | Indicates the physical office or regional location where the user is based. This helps identify time zones, working hours, and available onsite resources. (Example: Amsterdam) |
Employee Status | Defines the user’s employment type or working arrangement within the organization. Typical values include Full-Time, Part-Time, Contractor, or Freelance. (Example: Full-Time) |
Expertise | Lists the user’s professional skills or areas of specialization. These may include disciplines such as Artwork, Design, HR, Media, PR, HTML, CGI, Illustration, Video Effects, Sound Editing, or Packaging. |
Client Experience | Shows a list of clients or brands the user has worked with. This can be used for matching resources to relevant client accounts or industry experience. (Examples: BP, Chase Bank, Clorox, Keurig, Nike, Unilever) |
Sector Expertise | Identifies technical or industry-specific skills related to the user’s role. These may include Cloud Computing, JavaScript, CSS, Adobe Suite, Data Analysis, Infrastructure, HTML5, Visual Modeling, SQL Reporting, and others. |
Profit Centre | The accounting or budget center code is associated with the user’s department or cost allocation. This field supports financial tracking and reporting. (Example: 1234) |
Site Branding | Displays the default site or visual theme associated with the user’s login environment. This ensures consistent branding and layout when accessing the platform. |
Timesheet Approver | Indicates whether the user has permission to review and approve timesheets for others. Users with this status can manage time submissions within their team or department. |
Interests | Highlights personal or professional interests that may be useful for internal networking or team culture initiatives. (Example: Basketball) |
Years Experience | Reflects the total number of years of professional experience the user has accumulated. This field can be used for reporting, resource planning, and capability assessment. |
Once you have made updates and changes to the profile, click Save.
