- In the Basic tab, enter a name for the new attribute list.
- Set Permissions to configure access rights for the attribute list as required in the Permissions tab. (This step is optional.)

- Add Attribute List: Creates a new attribute tree structure.
- Edit Attribute List: View and modify existing attribute lists.
- Move to Archive List: Moves the attribute list to the Inactive Attribute List tab, deactivating it.
Adding Attribute Values to a List
You can add values to an attribute list by clicking on its name or using the Edit Attribute List action from the dropdown menu.
- Click the attribute list name to open it.
- Fill in the Attribute Value.
An Attribute Value refers to a specific option or data entry defined within an attribute list. It represents a piece of metadata that can be assigned to or associated with system elements, such as forms, projects, or other content types. For example, if you have an attribute list called "Country", the attribute values might be United States, Canada, Mexico, etc. These values are the actual data options users select or reference when using the attribute.
In summary, Attribute Value is the concrete data or choice within a broader attribute category used to standardize and organize information across the system.
Optionally, fill in the Attribute Label (displayed in option menus when creating elements; the value appears when in use).
Click Add New to include the new attribute.
Filtering and Import/Export
- Use the Search box to filter by value or label.
- Use the Import/Export option to quickly populate or update attribute lists.
- Toggle 'Include Disabled Attributes' to show or hide disabled attributes.
- Editing an Attribute Value
- Select Attribute Type
- Choose the attribute from the list.
Editing an Attribute Value in a List
- Click the Edit Attribute icon.
- Update the desired text fields.
- Click Save Attribute to apply.
Note: Attributes can be disabled if they should no longer be available for selection. Disabled attributes remain visible in existing elements and projects to prevent display issues, but cannot be selected in new entries.
Importing and Exporting Attributes
- Export All: Download all current attributes into an Excel file for review or update.
- Export Empty: Download a template Excel file with headers to create new attributes.
- Import: Upload an Excel file with attribute data to update or create attributes in the selected list.
