You can directly add links to external websites or internal network locations within a Workbox. When selected, these links open in a new browser tab, making it easy to reference related resources without storing physical files.
To Add a Link
- Navigate to the Workbox where you want to add the link.
- Open the Menu and select Add Link.
- Complete the Link Details.
Fill out the following fields in the link creation form:
- Label: Enter the display name for the link.
- Link Type: Choose the type of link:
- HTTP – for standard web addresses (e.g., https://www.example.com)
- MailTo – to create a clickable email link (e.g., mailto:info@example.com)
- URL: Enter the full web address or email target, depending on the Link Type.
- Description (optional): Provide a summary or context for the link to help users understand its purpose.
- Thumbnail (optional): Upload a thumbnail image to represent the link in the file list visually.
- Click Save to add the link to the Workbox. Once saved, the link is available alongside other files and folders and opens in a new browser tab when clicked.
